This edition of our Fine Art Nude workshop will feature two different styles of the art nude – classic and editorial.  The workshop starts with a discussion of the influences on the nude and how the genre evolved.  We’ll reinforce this discussion with an opportunity to shoot our model in two very different but very classic fine art nude sets.  We’ll have a lunch break and in the afternoon return to discuss the progression of the nude from class to editorial.  We’ll talk about the influence of fashion and culture on the classic nude.  We’ll shoot several different sets that will provide opportunities for participants to shoot our model in a more modern, editorial style.
The workshop will include a review of all the lighting set ups we’re using, a discussion of how they apply to the topic and we’ll answer any questions on adapting the lighting or other sets.  This workshop is designed to let more experienced photographers achieve some new and interesting results while giving the beginning photographers the instruction they need to successfully capture great images.
We have a first class model and we’ll provide two very different makeup looks throughout the day.
