About our Workshops:

All HSS workshops are educational events, not group shoots.

All content development workshops will have download stations set up for participants to review their images and receive coaching during the workshop. Content development workshops are one hour longer to allow for the review time.

Model(s) and a makeup artist (MUA) are provided for every workshop.

Lighting skills workshops are about 50/50 discussion to shooting. Content development workshops are about 30/70 discussion to shooting.

We use radio triggers for connecting the camera to the strobes. Your camera must have a hot shoe or a PC connection in order to use the radios.

A Lighting Skills Workshop

This workshop is designed to demonstrate the basic equipment and techniques for lighting with studio strobes. The workshop will cover a hands-on demonstration of the use of studio strobes. The course is very basic, for photographers that have never used studio strobes and want to understand the basics of using the equipment.

Glamour Workshop

A Content Development Workshop

Special Theme: Two Girls At The Same Time.

Shoot beautiful and sexy glamour images with one model is both fun and a challenge, but adding a second model may double the fun, but also presents a unique set of problems. Ron will discuss the technical challenges – like keeping them both in focus and in the light – and he’ll discussion artistic and narrative challenges – like telling a story and keeping it classy.

Of course there will be two models, both 5′ 10″ and 34-24-36. Sallie Lou and Ellen Marisa.
